I’m Katerina, I’m a Libra Sun

and Capricorn rising, with Venus conjunct Pluto in Scorpio. So perhaps it’s not entirely surprising that I ended up doing work that involves asking what’s underneath everything.

I’m Cretan and Celtic, and both sides of that heritage have shaped the way I see the world. My connection to Crete has been part of my life from the beginning. I grew up spending time there, surrounded by the land, the culture, the mythology and the ancient stories, and there has always been something about Crete that felt deeply familiar to me. As I have gotten older, I became increasingly aware of how much that connection has influenced my imagination and my fascination with the ancient world.

And then there’s my Celtic side. My Nan had her own relationship with the mysterious. She would bow to the moon every month, put crystals in the corners of her house, and tell us that we were descendants of Witches, (oh how I thought I would inherit powers when I turned 16). She was a triple Pisces, which, in retrospect, feels almost comically on brand. But more than the astrology of it, she shaped something in me. She taught me, in her own way, to be curious about the things that can’t always be explained or seen, to pay attention to the mystical, our intuition, nature and the feeling that there might be more going on beneath the surface of ordinary life.

I think those two parts of me, the Cretan and the Celtic, have always existed alongside each other. One rooted me in an ancient land filled with mythology, history and stories, while the other gave me an early relationship with the mystical and the unseen. Somewhere between the two, I developed a fascination with people: our inner worlds, our contradictions, our desires, our patterns, and the strange ways we can both know ourselves and hide from ourselves at the same time.

In my early thirties, my study began with Modern Astrology (what I tend to refer to as psychological astrology), and over the years I came to see the birth chart as a powerful language for understanding ourselves beyond the surface. The further I went, the further back I wanted to look, which eventually led me to the ancient foundations of Astrology and to the study of Hellenistic Astrology, which I am now professionally studying with Demetra George.

I’m increasingly interested in what we can actually do with what we discover about ourselves. I use Astrology to translate the language of the sky. I’m interested in what the chart can reveal about who we are, the patterns we carry, our natural qualities and our desires, but also in what we can actually do with that understanding. How we can reconnect with our magnetism, embody more of who we are, and work with the cycles and movements of the sky as they unfold. I’m a Transformation Guide and Astrologer, and this is where my work lives: at the meeting point between understanding yourself and learning how to work with what you discover.

Thank you for being here. I’m so glad you found your way into this space.
