These terms apply to readings and services booked with Katerina Takis.

Booking and Payment

Payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your appointment. Prices, service details and session durations are provided on the relevant service page.

Please provide accurate contact details and birth information. You may receive a questionnaire by email to help me prepare for your reading.

The Nature of My Work

My readings use astrology to support self understanding, explore personal patterns and offer perspectives for reflection and personal development.

I aim to deliver the service described on the relevant page and conduct each session professionally. However, I cannot guarantee specific outcomes, personal transformations or changes in your life.

The insights gained through our work are an invitation to greater understanding, conscious choice and action. You remain responsible for your own decisions and how you choose to apply those insights.

My readings are not medical or psychological treatment or diagnosis, and are not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, legal or financial advice where needed.

Client Conduct

I aim to provide a respectful and professional environment and ask that clients treat me with the same courtesy. I reserve the right to end a session if a client behaves abusively, threatens me or engages in harassment. Any refund will be considered fairly in accordance with the circumstances and applicable consumer law.

Please read the separate Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refund Policy before booking. It explains the arrangements for cancellations, refunds, rescheduling and statutory cancellation rights.

Cancelling Within 14 Days

When you book a service online, you will generally have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract, without giving a reason.

To cancel, please contact admin@katerinatakis.com in writing.

If you request that your reading takes place within this 14 day period, I will ask you to expressly request that the service begins early and acknowledge the applicable cancellation rules.

If you cancel after a service has begun at your express request, you may be required to pay a proportionate amount for the service already provided, where permitted by law. If the service has been fully performed and the required consent and acknowledgement were obtained, the statutory cancellation right for that completed service may end.

Rescheduling and Late Cancellations

Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, wherever possible.

If something unexpected happens within 24 hours of your appointment, please contact me. I’ll consider the circumstances on a case by case basis.

Outside your statutory cancellation rights, any refund or amount retained will be determined in accordance with this policy, the circumstances and applicable consumer law.

Late Arrivals and Missed Appointments

A 15 minute grace period applies if you’re running late. Please contact me beforehand to let me know.

If you have not arrived or made contact within 15 minutes of your scheduled start time, your appointment may be treated as missed. Any amount retained will be assessed fairly, taking account of the circumstances and applicable consumer law.

The Return: Two Session Package

The Return costs £422 and includes two personalised 90 minute readings. For the purposes of this package, £211 is allocated to each session. Full payment is required when booking the first session.

Your second session will be arranged together at the end of your first reading, allowing you time to work with your personalised shadow work prompts between sessions.

If you decide not to continue after completing the first session, please contact me in writing. The first session will be treated as the service already provided, and the remaining £211 will be refunded, subject to applicable statutory rights and the circumstances of the cancellation.

If you request that the second session takes place within the initial 14 day cancellation period, you will be asked to expressly request the early start and acknowledge the applicable cancellation rules. Your statutory rights will continue to apply as required by law.

If I Need to Reschedule

If I need to reschedule your session, I’ll contact you to arrange a suitable alternative. If I’m unable to provide the service you’ve paid for, an appropriate alternative or refund will be offered as required by the circumstances and applicable law.

Katerina Takis respects your privacy. This policy explains how your personal information is used when you visit my website, book a reading or contact me.

What Information I Collect

When you book a reading or contact me, I may collect your name, email address, booking details, birth details and information you choose to share in a questionnaire.

Payments are processed through Stripe or PayPal. These providers handle your payment information according to their own privacy policies.

How I Use Your Information

I use your information to manage bookings and payments, prepare and deliver your reading, send appointment communications, respond to enquiries and maintain records required by law.

I process information where necessary to provide the service you have booked, meet legal obligations, pursue legitimate business interests or, where required, with your consent.

Who Processes Your Information

I use Squarespace for my website, Acuity Scheduling for bookings, and Stripe and PayPal for payments. These providers process relevant information to provide their services.

I personally prepare and conduct your readings. I do not have employees or other readers reviewing your questionnaire responses. I do not sell your personal information.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law.

How Long I Keep Your Information

I keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide my services, manage my business and meet legal obligations. Different records may need to be kept for different periods. When information is no longer needed, I will take reasonable steps to delete it securely.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to access your information, correct it, request its deletion, restrict or object to certain uses, and withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.

If you have concerns about how your personal information is handled, please contact me at admin@katerinatakis.com. You also have the right to raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

Newsletters and Cookies

Newsletter subscriptions are optional and separate from booking a reading. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

My website may use cookies or similar technologies. Where consent is legally required for non essential cookies, appropriate consent options should be provided.
